Your First Visit

Your first visit to Walnut Creek Family Dentistry will last approximately an hour and a half. Dr. Cowherd will give you a comprehensive oral exam which will be followed by a complete dental cleaning (if you don't have gum disease) performed by a hygienist. During this visit, we'll plan any necessary treatments and answer any questions you may have. At our office, you can expect the latest and most thorough dental care:

  • Digital radiography
  • Head and neck exam
  • Occlusion/bite assessment
  • Oral cancer screening
  • Oral hygiene instruction
  • Periodontal charting
